About the Australian Rare Lung Disease Short Course Patient Education Stream

Lung Foundation Australia will be running a patient education stream in conjunction with the Australian Rare Lung Disease Short Course 2017. This event is designed for anyone living with or caring for someone with a rare lung disease such as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Connective Tissue Disorders or Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.

The Rare Lung Disease Short Course patient education stream will be held on a separate floor of the meeting venue, Parkroyal Darling Habour on Saturday 19th August 2017 from 9am to 12:30pm.

The program will include presentations from leading national respiratory physicians, nurses and physiotherapists. The speaker program will close with a question and answer session. Welcome tea and coffee will be served along with a morning tea in between the two sessions.

Spaces are limited for this unique patient education event so registration is vital to ensure you secure a space to attend.  To cover the cost of the room hire and morning tea a small fee of $10 will be charged. This is payable on the day.
